26/4 BASIC OF SUMAZAU DANCE

Today I learned about the basic dance of sumazau. I also learned how to exercise and warming up.

Among the exercises I learned were:

⚫bend

⚫head exercise (rotation)

⚫shoulder exercises (up and down, front and

back)

⚫bouncing hands (bouncing palms

backward) (local, open, up, down)

hand bounce (up and down)

(local, open, up, down)

hand bounce (hooks and throws) (local,

open, up, down)

• footwork (local, forward, backward)

• swing your arms while moving your feet (

local, forward, backward, local turn)

⚫Shake your legs while your hands are moving

I felt a bit tired after doing this exercise even though it was a bit torturous.
